The main goals of the activities of the Association are organization and multisided development of Ukrainian – American community cooperation and international relations with other countries in various fields, popularization of the program “Community Connections” and the experience gained in the USA among broad strata of population of Donetsk region.

The main objectives of the activities of the Association are:

· studying the American and world experience in various fields and its generalization and popularization in Donetsk region;

· assistance in development of economic, scientific and cultural relations with the USA and other countries;

· supporting initiatives of the state authorities, public movements, institutions, organizations and citizens aimed at broadening and development of Ukrainian – American cooperation and international relations with other countries;

· assistance in registration of the status of sister cities between Ukrainian and American towns and cities in Donetsk region;

· assistance in satisfying professional interests of the members of the Association, raising their professional skills, formation of environment for professional communication, holding seminars and conferences aimed at popularization of the American and world experience and modern technologies;

· foundation of Sources of Mass Information for realization of publishing activities aimed at practicing main goals of the Association;

· cooperation with international and American public organizations, institutions, citizens; contacts and relations through trainings, exchanges of delegations, correspondence, Internet, etc.
