Amvrosievka's region

Amvrosievka - regional center, 74 km from Donetsk. Railroad station. Settlement appeared in 1869 when the construction of Kursko-Kharkovsko-Azov railroad was begun.

City square is 1937 ha, 1308 ha of this square are used by buildings. parks and Squares take 677 ha, including 273 ha of common use.

Population is 25.5 000 people. Population is prevailingly employed in industry ( 40% of the total number of the employed), transport (7,5%), construction (7,3%). The city is the regional administrative and cultural center. Main industrial branches are: construction materials (cement plant, concrete factory); metallurgic (steel plant); machinery and metal processing ("Ugocentroremont" plant); food industry; stock food factory.
